Wealth & Investment Management

We build and run the systems wealth managers, brokerages, and platforms depend on. Client onboarding, robo-advice, order routing, market data, custody links, and reporting get engineered as one connected stack, with the compliance controls a supervisor expects sitting inside the code rather than bolted on after launch.

How we help

We turn fragmented advisory and trading tools into one platform your firm and its regulators can trust.

  • Fewer reconciliation breaks

Firms running order management, custody feeds, and reporting on separate systems spend mornings chasing breaks between them. We connect these flows with a shared position and transaction model, so book-of-record values match across advice, execution, and client statements instead of drifting apart overnight and needing manual repair.

  • Onboarding that clears review

Manual KYC and suitability checks stall new accounts for days and leave gaps a supervisor can question. We build onboarding with identity verification, risk profiling, and document capture wired into your case flow, so a client funds an account faster and every decision carries the evidence a reviewer asks for.

  • Advice you can defend later

When a client disputes a recommendation, firms often cannot reconstruct what was known at the time. We record the inputs behind each portfolio proposal, the risk profile, the model, the constraints applied, so an advisor or a compliance officer can show why a given allocation was suitable on the date it was made.

What we deliver

Six parts of the wealth stack we design, build, and keep running.

Robo-advisory & portfolio management

Manual model construction in spreadsheets breaks down once client counts grow and rules change. We build goal-based advice engines, risk questionnaires, model portfolios, and rebalancing logic with drift bands and tax-lot awareness. Advisors review proposals against constraints you set, and the same engine serves a self-directed digital experience without a second codebase to maintain.

Brokerage & order management

Orders passing through spreadsheets and phone calls leave gaps in the audit trail and slow execution. We build order and execution management with routing rules, pre-trade compliance checks, allocation across accounts, and venue connectivity through FIX. Each order carries its state and timestamps, so a trader and a reviewer can trace what happened and when.

Wealth dashboards & client portals

Clients calling advisors to ask for a balance signal a portal that fails them. We build web and mobile portals showing holdings, performance, funding, and documents, with role-based access for joint accounts and advisors. The same position data feeds the advisor desktop, so a client and their manager see figures that agree rather than two versions of the truth.

Market data & analytics

Pricing pulled from mismatched sources produces valuations nobody trusts. We integrate market data feeds, normalize instrument identifiers, and handle corporate actions, so a security carries one price and one identity across the platform. Analytics for exposure, concentration, and scenario views run on that clean base, giving advisors numbers they can put in front of a client.

Custody & post-trade

Post-trade breaks between your book and the custodian surface days later as reconciliation work. We build custody integration, settlement tracking, and reconciliation against custodian and depository feeds, matching positions and cash at the account level. Exceptions get flagged for an operations team with the detail to resolve them, so breaks close quickly instead of aging.

Performance & reporting

Client statements assembled by hand invite errors and eat operations time. We build performance calculation with time-weighted and money-weighted returns, benchmark comparison, fee accounting, and statement generation. Reports draw from the same book of record as the portal, so a quarterly statement, a tax document, and the online view reconcile to the same underlying figures.

Our technology radar

Where we stand today. The Hold ring is the one that matters: these are positions we argue against, including when a client asks for them.

Adopt

The default unless there is a reason not to.

  • Recording model, assumptions and constraints with every proposal
  • Simulation over point forecasts
  • Separation of advice from execution
  • Market data with licensed lineage
  • Continuous drift monitoring
Trial

We use these on new work and watch them closely.

  • Assistants over client documents, with a governance record of what the model saw
  • Real-time regime signals feeding rebalance suggestions rather than decisions
Hold

We argue against these.

  • Model portfolios as the only instrument
  • Single-point forecasts
  • Storing performance figures without their inputs
  • Advice logic implemented in the interface
Wealth platform

One book of record across advice, trading, and reporting

We connect onboarding, portfolios, execution, custody, and statements so figures agree wherever a client or advisor looks.

How we work

  • Discover

Systems, constraints, and the regulation you operate under get mapped before implementation starts, so the design accounts for what already runs and for what examiners will ask about.

  • Architect

A design that fits your stack. Integration-first, self-hostable, and built to change as rules, regulation, and volume do.

  • Build

Senior engineers ship in tight increments, each tested and reviewed as it goes, so the system is reviewable at every step instead of only at the end.

  • Harden

Security, compliance, and load-testing run inside the build, so controls, audit trails, and peak-volume behavior are proven before launch.

  • Run

The handover includes clean, documented systems, with the option to keep the same engineers operating them once they are live.

Why Oxagile

  • We build and run it

Many vendors hand over code and leave. We stay through operation if you want it, with the same senior engineers who built the platform keeping it running. That continuity matters when a market data feed changes format or a custodian updates its settlement messages and someone has to fix it the same day.

  • Compliance sits in the build

Audit trails, access controls, and suitability evidence get designed into the system from the first sprint, not patched in before an examination. Firms that treat compliance as a later phase spend months retrofitting logs and permissions. We build so a supervisor can reconstruct any decision from records the platform kept as it happened.

  • Integration comes first

Wealth platforms live among custodians, market data vendors, and core banking systems. We design around FIX, REST, and file-based feeds so your platform connects to what you already run. That focus keeps a new order management system from becoming an island your operations team has to bridge by hand.

  • Self-hostable by default

You keep control of where client data and positions live. We build so the platform can run in your own cloud or data center under your security policies, which matters when a regulator asks where records sit. No dependency on a vendor-hosted opaque system you cannot inspect or move.

Questions

Common questions from wealth managers, brokerages, and platform teams.

Can you connect to our existing custodian and market data providers?

Yes. We build integration around the interfaces your providers already offer, including FIX for orders, REST for account and pricing data, and scheduled files for positions and corporate actions. We map your custodian and depository feeds into a shared model, so positions and cash reconcile without a separate translation layer your team has to keep patching.

How do you handle suitability and audit requirements?

We record the inputs behind each recommendation, the client risk profile, the model applied, and the constraints in force at the time. Access is role-based and logged. A compliance officer can reconstruct why a given allocation was suitable on a given date, which is what a supervisor asks for when reviewing advice or responding to a client dispute.

Can the platform serve both advisor-led and self-directed clients?

Yes. We build the advice engine and position model once, then present them through an advisor desktop and a client-facing digital experience. Both draw from the same portfolios, pricing, and rules, so a self-directed client and an advised one see consistent figures. You avoid maintaining two separate systems that drift apart over time.

Do we host it ourselves or do you host it?

Your choice. We build the platform so it can run in your own cloud or data center under your security policies, which keeps client data and records where your regulator expects them. If you prefer, we operate it for you. Either way, the code and documentation are yours, with no vendor-hosted component you cannot inspect.

What happens after launch?

We hand over documented systems and can keep the same engineers running them. Wealth platforms need ongoing attention as feeds change format, custodians update messages, and volumes shift. Having the team that built the platform handle those changes means fixes land faster, and you are not dependent on a support queue that has to learn your system first.
